Hi, fellow Zelda fans! Time for a somewhat different question! I watched a video of TheJWittz about Zelda games (don't particularly remember which one) and he said he doesn't regret looking at a guide, in order to overcome/beat Jabu Jabu's Belly, the 7th dungeon in Oracle of Ages! How many of you didn't use a guide to do the same and how many of you did? I know I'm not going to use one!

  • Blondbeard, no, I don't. There's a dungeon with a similar name in Oracle of Ages, too! Check it out if you want to see it for yourself.

  • Only this year I beat that very dungeon without guides! To be fair, the 1st time I played on my own, I used one, so maybe I have some memory to rely on (not that I remember after zoning out for hours while swimming in the dungeon depths) XD Not using a guide felt very rewarding however ^_^ Those Oracle games were tough!

  • With struggle, I was able to complete it without a guide.

  • Blondbeard, you're welcome and yeah, you can see that a dungeon with the same name, but harder one, exists in another Zelda game!

  • I beat all Loz games without a guide. I only used the interactive map on Zelda Dungeon to find the last 6 Korok seeds in Botw. I only need to beat Zelda 2, Oracle series NG+ for rings and Minish Cap (1 Kinstone for last piece of heart) then I have beat all main LoZ games 100% without the use of a guide (except those last few seeds in Botw) <3 Now heading off to my weekly Zelda Anonymous meeting..

  • The guide didnt suffice, so i beaten it without it
