    Because Nintendo wants to advertise their new console while having a fun, portable game. Also, the wiiu wasn't too popular. And if they wanted to make Splatoon 2 for wiiu they could've just made a huge update to the first one! I can see why you may be upset about it, but I think it makes sense why it's only on the Switch.
