i first got this on the wii its an awesome shooter along with super air bonk that i hope gets released soon on wiiu coz it super awesome with its music i love the cartoony graphics too I LOVE BOTH THESE GAMES

    I love this game, but the sequal was a dud. I'd take the awesome synth soundtrack of this one over the awful rockabilly junk anyday. Like Legendary Axe's sequal, Air Zonk 2 was inferior to the original in every conceivable way. Speaking of Legendary Axe, why haven't they ever released it for Virtual Console, or did they finally? I would have gotten it on Wii along with the rest of the games.

    I always loved the awesome weaponry of this game. Easily some of the coolest and most varied of any shooter ever!

    i have to disagree both these games are great but air zonk 2 is better in level layout and music non of them are inferior i just like air zonk 2 more besides i think they both have the same upgrades

    They don't have the same upgrades Caleb. The weaponry and firepower in the first Air Zonk is waaaaaaaay cooler.
