    Depends how old it is. NES games can fetch a good trade price with collectable, and thry very rare gold NES cartridges can be triple that.

    Yeah, depends on the game. If it's something from the NES or SNES I probably wouldn't only because I could most likely play on virtual console and while rare games are cool most the time they aren't something I'm all that interested in.

    On one hand, there's the gamer part of me that wants to open and play it like anybody else. On the other hand, the collector in me would cringe if I opened something that's been fully preserved in its original state for decades. Asked this since on eBay, I saw a sealed copy of a GBC game I wanted for $30; it shot up to $120 within the last 30 seconds (about 13 minutes ago). I bid $60, oh well.

    Is it rare? If not, probably, and if so, probably still if it's Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance because I'd really want a new legit copy of that game.
