  • I'm going with LttP. Love the music and the fog that shrouds the place.

  • I was about to say ALttP myself, for the same reasons.

  • It's between TP and LBW for me ... tough call. Any compliment I pay LBW is kind of one to LttP heh. Definitely not BotW ... very promising, but it fell apart. The same music being used in a number of other places is a huge fail, and the opportunity for a vast, dense wooded area that Link could freely wander in after the cool intro was squandered.

    LttP is mine

  • Oracle of Seasons. The whole lead up to Ancient Ruins is my favorite part of that game. Seeing the Lost Woods in every season was really neat too.

  • ALttP. I would like BotW Lost Woods but unless they add something there is only one place to go- the Korok Forest. I would like to have some other secret locations to find

The upbeat music in OoT Lost Woods is a bit of an outlier from the other appearances of the Woods in the series, but I still think it lends it a unique character, making OoT Lost Woods my favorite.

  • Breath of the Wild for me

  • I kind of liked the Lost Woods in BotW. It was the only place in the game that genuinely pushed you away. It's as if the woods were telling you to turn back. In a game where you can go anywhere with enough items and skill, it truly drew me in with a sense of mystery. Four shrines, capacity upgrades, and the best weapon in the game were a good reward.

  • I guess that depends on what we define as the "Lost Woods" in BotW. If we count the entirety of the Great Hyrule Forest, I really enjoyed the various challenges presented therein. The Trial of the Sword counts too, right? =P Regardless, it would be my favorite. Otherwise, if we only count the section specifically labeled as the Lost Woods, Ocarina of Time. The music is a big departure from...

  • ...the standard set in ALttP, but it still fits, and as being the key to its initial navigation, I approve. Combine that with the lore surrounding it (Everyone. Stalfos.), the shortcuts leading to Goron City and Zora's Domain, and other secrets/events that happen here, and it ends up as the most memorable Lost Woods for me.

  • In fact, it probably does top BotW with everything else taken into consideration. I was just thinking from a gameplay standpoint with my first comment. =P

  • For me, it's a tie between The Sacred Grove from TP and Lost Woods/Korok Forest from BotW.

  • TP's seemed quite plain to me, ALttP's wasn't all that fantastic though it's gotta be second for me for the feel. BotW's Lost Woods I found annoying to traverse. ALBW's Lost Woods was the same as A Link to the Past's, but felt a bit less that ALttP's imo. OoT just had great music, a colourful vibe, and a feeling of adventure with plenty to do, and full of secrets, that's my favourite.

  • Personally I think TP's lost woods are the best.... Probably because it was the first zelda game I actually sunk my teeth into. :)
