Character Troubles

So I started Meurs' route, but I switched to have all the guys on the same team. Liber always faints, and Owen doesn't have good support skills. Did I make a mistake taking Bianca and Garnet off, or does every character have similar stats? Also if someone has advice on formations for Spiritfall and The Unseen City, that would be very helpful. Thank you!

    I don't think it really matters. Owen, Garnet, and Filmia seem to be the toughest though. I heard Bianca, Meurs, and Lieber learn skills more often. I'm not sure if that's true, however Bianca in my game does indeed gain skills faster than the others. I was actually planning to dump Bianca for Garnet but by the time I met her Bianca had learned so many skills I just had to keep her.
