「クイズ脳ベルSHOW」は、近年認知症への予防、及び治療として有効な手段として確立した学習療法に取り組む高齢者を製作者が見て、何かこの人達の為に番組が作れないかと思ったのがキッカケで誕生したらしい。

そのエピソードを知ってもっと「クイズ脳ベルSHOW」が好きになりました。脳トレ以外にも、楽しく番組が見れるよう工夫がされてるらしいです。クイズが得意が勝つという従来のクイズ番組のスタイルを覆し、多くの逆転要素を取り入れたり、これまた従来では許されない空白回答の容認、また、司会が問題へのヒントをしゃべり過ぎて、答えを思わず言ってしまうのもカットせず放送。今までにない要素や、こういったありのままを見せるのも見てて面白いです。
