    Most peeps start off with an anime style but over the years change into something 'comfortable', turning into their own original style. You should take note that some famous digital artists started off with anime as their style but improved over the years to make their own. ^^ Their artwork is pretty amazing if I do say so myself. BUT I agree, art schools hate anime. (Art teachers as well...)

    @Jasmine I greatly agree with that but if they keep the anime style through their older school years, they will just have to change it through college then go back to it if they want.

    A cousin of mine does the method u said. They hop between the two styles. It's confusing but cool! I guess if you combine both together you can create semi-realism!

    It's fine for kids to be influenced by anime imo, but u should definitely learn realism and all the rules that go along with it before u develop a style. Gotta learn the rules before u break em
