最後は羊ヶ丘展望台で写真撮影！後ろにあるクラーク像は「Boys Be Ambitious」訳すると「少年よ、大志を抱け」という意味でクラーク博士のこの言葉はかなり有名です。このウィリアム・スミス・クラーク博士は北海道開拓の父で有名で像の右手を挙げる姿勢は「遥か彼方にある永遠の真理」を指し、そこに向かって大志を抱けとの思いが込められているそうです。
