  • Happy 25th Kirby! You're our super star! Kirby's Dreamland was released on August 1st, 1992 for the original Game Boy system. Masahiro Sakurai wanted Kirby to be pink, but Shigeru Miyamoto wanted him to be yellow, Masahiro's design won, but in America they didn't know his color, so they made him grayscale like the game.

  • Kirby was originally a placeholder for a charecter named Popopo, but they loved his design so much, he became the main character. Lololo and Lalala are from HAL's Eggerland (Adventures of Lolo) series for the Nes and Famicom.
