I absolutely HATE it when people do this! That's NOT your starter because the king was letting you BORROW, and not keep, that pikachu! Your starter is the first pokemon that you ACTUALLY CATCH with that pikachu (My starter was Torchic and I like to believe that it evolved into a Combusken, then this Blaziken) ! Afterwards you're supposed to return the pikachu and if you don't do that right now...

The RPG games aren't actually half bad. If you think they are too expensive, why not just buy it on Sale? Or get one as Used and new on Ebay? I got a good deal with OR for $20.00 on sale!
