v1.1 Patch and Ekoro DLC Update

Inti Creates has recently stated on their website and social media that the v1.1 patch will finally be released tomorrow on August 3rd for North American 3DS players. As compensation for 3DS players in North America not getting the patch on the original release date, the free download period for the Ekoro DLC will be extended for another week.

    Note: The free download extension for Ekoro's DLC does not apply to the Nintendo Switch version, nor 3DS players that didn't have this issue in other territories.

    I bet Jason from Blaster Master Zero will be coming to Mighty Gunvolt Burst. You know they teased about other DLC characters coming? Jason would be a perfect candidate because A. He's a shooter, would fit perfectly with the side-scrolling nature in his game too And, B. Gunvolt was DLC in BMZ and so it's sensible for Jason to return the favor. Past him and Copen, I'm not sure who else they'd add.

    I'm curious if they'll add Ray from Mighty No. 9, since her diminishing HP and aggressive playstyle was fun in that game (it was almost like Shinobi/Nightshade on the PS2), plus it would be a nice change-up from the long-range fighters at the moment yet I could see her getting some interesting weapon customization options on par with Beck.
