GAME IDEA: How about giving the players the ability to exchange gems to upgrade them. The player can go to the shop and exchange 999 of all three crystal types and get ONE (1) Rare Fragment in return. Players can also exchange 100 Rare Fragments to get ONE (1) Gem Apple. This gives a value to crystals at all times and allows players to consolidate excess crystals.

    EFFECT: The purchase of Gem Apples shouldn't be profoundly affected as most people who already buy them will prefer the speed to which they're already accustomed. This would only really affect players who won't, or can't buy them at all.

    Christina, that's what makes it a great idea! Otherwise, younger players or those with a tight home budget would take AGES just to complete story mode.
