To be honest, I don't really like the Special Stages in Sonic Mania. It's not the half-pipe, I'll give it that. But the controls are too slippery imo.

    Agreed, but it was supposed to feel as responsive as the Sonic 3D Flickies Island port for the Sega Saturn. Looks like they tried too hard.
