    Equip a two-handed weapon and your best bow with an elemental arrow. First eat a meal that boost your attack +3 like 5 mighty bananas. Shoot the Lynel's face with your bow that will stun them. Use your two-handed weapon and keep hitting him. When the Lynel starts to recover use Urbosa's Fury that will stun it again. Once you have a Savage Lynel Crusher and a 5 shot Savage Lynel Bow they are easier

    You can also use the time freeze if you have it upgraded that also works to freeze him . I just kept freezing him with that than shooting him with bomb arrows

    Here's my strategy: 1) Shoot arrow to face 2) Run up to him and mount him 3) Equip a damage boosting set or meal and your strongest weapon then smash him 5 times. 4) Repeat until he's annihilated.

    If you are fine with losing a pony, then you ride a horse at full gallop towards the Lynel. When you get next to them jump off your horse and shoot the Lynel in the face and you keep shooting till you touch the ground or almost run out of stamina. Then you attack the Lynel with your weapon. I only mount the Lynels if I have rare weapon like 108 Savage Lynel Crusher and I want to hit them. It takes

    longer to mount a Lynel hit them multiple times and shoot the Lynel in the face again to stun them.

    There's a way to kill it before it fights back. Wear Majora's Mask or a Lynel Mask. Use level 3 attack buffs. Use your strongest 2 handed weapon and get close to the Lynel. Spin your weapon around and around. This can kill a Red Lynel before it can fight back. I'm not sure if this works for stronger Lynels.
