Making a Shroob version of Plessie similar to Yoob, but I want some suggestions how I can make him look more different from Plessie, than just a color swap and a name that mixes "Plessie x Shroob" or "Nothosaur x Shroob". I got Ploob & Nothoob, but do you have good names?

    Plessie has those horizontal strips on his back, right? What if one difference was that this version had vertical ones instead, and would be black in color. (Similar to how Yoob's shell was black.) As for other features, I'm not sure. Since Plessie hasn't been showcased in the games as a glutton at times like Yoshi, maybe his Shroob version would be like the opposite of Yoob, and be thinner?

    Hmm... I wasn't sure on making his stripes black but now that I think about it despite Yoshis shell is red & spikes orange on Yoob they're both black. That would be perfect. But for his stripes each of them has different sizes of length & width. So I wondered about making them upside down. Let me draw it out.

    See I want the stripes to always be symmetrical. If I make'em horizontal, I'll have to change the length of the stripes to match. I think it's best to have both mid stripes long and outer stripes short. Then showed both difference in thick & thin. So which is best? Upside Down, Horizontal(left drawing) or Horizontal(right drawing)?

    I was think making it fatter like Yoob but that would be too similar to Yoob along with the cheek. I wanted him heavy because it would slide faster, though Plessie is like Luigi/Waluigi to Yoshi being taller but slimmer. Guess he would weigh about as Yoob since Yoob's weight is by fat while this one is by size. Yoob would stand up to Ploob/Nothoob waste.

    And here's images of ideas to make his snout different or should I keep it as is? I also wonder about the eyelines. Normally they're black, but I made them teal to match his under body color. Making them black would blend in with the eyes... then again I could make eyes slightly gray like I did with Yoob before.

    For his back, I think the left image of the "horizontal" lines would be better. As for the face, I think that either #1 or #4 would be ideal.

    Here's how it looks now. Recolored the eyelines to black as it looks better. Made him skinnier to show chest bone just like Yoob's fat shows him with... man breast. And the horizontal stripes. From this angel only one stripe is shown but it fits. I'm taking inspiration of the Yoob & Yoshi artwork as you can tell.

    Note Yoob is more pink than purple. I always thought it was a purple but in the game & on wiki it said he's colored pink. So I've been mistaking his color a little off the entire time. I already recolored him in the other project above but now I have to see if he's good in TYCP. But I kept it the mistake color for Ploob. It fits nicely with the teal color. Both colors are darker than Yoob's.

    I was wondering what color for it to be, Yoob's underside is green like Yoshi's main color so I thought L-orange on Ploob would look good but it wasn't and green like Yoob but too similar. Then I chose Pless's eye color and it looks great.

    It seems "Shressie" has not been suggested yet. I am not too certain about that name, however... How about adding some more protrusions to his head and tail to make it look more fan-like?

    Never heard of the term "Protrusion" before but you mean how many fins sticking out right? Well just like how Yoob has 3 spikes like Yoshi I wanted to do the same with Pless. Then give it the same physical appearance as Yoob's. But I'll have that more fan like idea on thought.

    Shressie... Yeah, no. Almost sounded like Shrek and I don't think it be perfect for him. I think it's better with the "oob" part of Shroob. Right now I'm calling it Ploob due to it being shorter and what most are choosing.

    Oops...I am using words that are too big again...sorry. I am really trying to work on that... But yes, I was referring to the spikes that are sticking out on his head and tail. Oh my XD I did not think of it sounding like Shrek; yes--please do not use it. Ploob does seem to be the best choice.

    Ploob:(DESTROY!) Shroobs constantly say "destroy", and yoshis usually have parentheses around the words they say to translate, but you probably knew that.
