how long is a day on poke pelago?

here's the thing: 9 pm last night or a little later i checked poke pelago and a shiny pyukumuku visited my island. i thought i could get it quicker by changing my clock.how long is a day in poke pelago?

...24 hours...? I haven't played this game is a long time but I don't think changing the clock speeds it up, unless you do that month overlay glitch or something
