    there should be a room with 2 koopa troopas one of them is walking in front of a big ? block,jump onto the block and position mario facing the camera when the koopa troopa is touching the block jump on it while still facing the screen if it doesn't work try it again . it takes at least 3 times to get the max number of lives ps. you need the max number of lives to get mario and luigis hat off
