It just took more careful platforming. Truthfully it was just Eggman. A bit tougher than anything previously. Took some patience.

Yeah, I try to unlock Super Sonic before the octopus boss. One hit and bye bye rings, lol. Honestly I found it easier when paired with Tails. He gets in those phantom hits. I took that thing out on my first try in my Sonic and Tails run but with my solo Sonic run I found it vastly more difficult.

I'm moving at a snails pace in this game. I can honestly only afford about 45 mins of play at a time and most of the time, I'm too exhausted to even play games. Regardless though, I love love love this game.

I hear ya. Sleep vs gaming: The eternal battle. It's rare I get a marathon gaming session anymore. I got lucky with Sonic granted the Switch makes it much easier to digest.
