So, I got Super Mario Bros. 1, 3, and World from the eShop and I can't play Mario one it's archaic design isn't something I can get past having played other newer Mario games long before I even knew what an NES was and getting kicked back to the title screen at a game over is brutal. With that said Mario 3 feels a lot better to play, and is just as challenging.
