I agree, but since the game is the way it is, look for alternate ways to defeat these bosses. There are some secret ways to beat them efficiently. That'll help with the tedious part.

Thanks for the tip! I've found two ways for Gigarilla and the Attack Carrier. Is there one for Andross (other than that bit at the very end)?

You can speed up the Andross fight if you use the Arwing at the very end. He seems to be less inclined to use eye lasers. It's a tight area, but it can be done.
