最初の目的地、猊鼻渓駅に到着！この猊鼻渓は岩手県一関市東山町に実際にある渓谷らしいですね。全長2キロメートルで高さ50メートルを越える石灰岩の岸壁が連続、至るところに奇岩や流れ落ちる滝もあり鍾乳洞もあるみたいです。そして猊鼻渓の名前の由来は峡谷出口付近にある侵食された鍾乳石が獅子の鼻に似てることから名付けられたんだとか。猊とは獅子のことらしいです。
