''Dragon's Aura'' Now this is one of my favorites! I had made it as a backdrop for a drawing of a specific OC of mine from a Zelda fanfic I'm writing. I've been trying to draw him in this, but unfortunately, he isn't exactly the easiest character to draw... It's been quite the challenge, really. Who knows if I'll actually manage to finish it or not.

''The Deep Blue'' This one has kind of a dark, frigid sea feel to it. (I was actually going for more of a sapphire-shadow kind of thing, but this is good too)

''Triple Aurora'' This one didn't turn out nearly as well as I had hoped. I was trying to make something bright and vivid that captures the beauty of contrast through 3 colors, each representing a different element. Unfortunately, the result was rather dull... I'd probably try to make some improvements to this before using it. Fortunately, this next one better captured what I was going for...

Last of all, and perhaps my top favorite: ''Three Elements'' Designed to capture the elements of forest, fire, and water, this one was made with specific Pokémon and Zelda themed drawings in mind. I have multiple drawings started that make use of it, and they're turning out rather well. I should be uploading them fairly soon, but with how many other projects I'm working on, it could be awhile.

Goodness! That sure took a lot longer than I expected to post all these! Having to constantly open & close Miiverse, as well as each image file in the app I'm trying to post, is quite time-consuming! Anyway, if anyone wants to, you can feel free to save these backdrops onto your devices to use in your own art if you wish. I'll be sharing them on another network soon for anyone to download free.

Wow! Thanks guys! Though, to tell the truth; these are actually very easy to make and require almost no skill whatsoever. (I certainly didn't have any when I started doing them!) It's really all a matter of blind experimentation. You merely spread pastels over a colored canvas and smudge them around at random. It's pretty addictive, since you start with no vision and never know what you'll get. :)

Thanks. Of course, a lot of the artists around here are wayyyyyyy better. There are quite a few who are half my age, yet draw 10x better than I ever could! LOL (I always wonder how they do it)

These are all so pretty though!! I especially like Dancing Sky. (I'm a sucker for clouds, lol) I wish I experimented with backgrounds like this more often. They all look really nice!

And I wish I'd actually DRAW more often! LOL Thanks. I've been thinking about using the 'Dancing Sky' one for a drawing of Revali from BotW as a WW Rito...if I ever get around to it. XD (come to think of it, most of my drawings seem to all be Zelda-related lately... Perhaps I ought to add some more diversity to my gallery)

BUMMER!! Nintendo just officially announced Miiverse's permanent discontinuation starting Nov 7! I hoped it'd still be around another year or so... ;_; Looks like I'll really have to hurry to finish all the drawings I've started in Art Academy quickly if I hope to post them while it's still possible...

I know, right? With Art Academy: Home Studio, you can just save your artwork directly onto your SD card while within the app, and then transfer it onto a computer from there. It's been awhile since I've used Pokémon Art Academy, so I don't recall at the moment if it's possible to do the same with that one or not. I'll have to check when I get the chance. Either way, I will miss this service... :'(

Well, 'wish granted', I guess... I have started being more active and am actually getting my unfinished drawings done now that I have only a limited time left to do it before Miiverse ends. But I just wish the source of my motivation didn't have to be such a drastic one...
