Today's Client is Today's Client! Let's walk through the process of manually creating backups of all ~600 episodes! … Okay I'm not letting you guys sit through that, but I'm still busy backing this stuff up. The automatic feature doesn't save comments and … that's where all the stories are, so unless I want to lose everything, I don't have much choice.

    Seriously, this series was important enough to me to put on my resumé! It's going to be a lot of work, but I am NOT losing this! I have an idea of where to put it. But the absolute last thing I'd want to do is get "temp"-banned at the last minute and lose access to everything before I've backed it up, so I'm not even going to hint at my plans yet.

    The bigger question is curation. I'm gotten much better at writing over the course of the series, so the early episodes might, ironically, not be the best starting point for someone to start reading the series. However, they also provide important grounding and continuity for the series, as many important characters had house walkthroughs well before they became central to proper stories.

    Thanks, Mike. This series has meant a lot to me, and helped me grow not only as a writer and visual artist, but as a human. And I'm always happy to see how my work has affected others. I can only hope it can continue to do so in another form. Speaking of which, I'm still working on Spider Pizza. It doesn't have remotely the same fanbase yet, but I still think I can make it something great.

    @Trip If you're willing to go through your posts a bit, you can screen shot each chapter and crop them into neat strips and then later repost them elsewhere. Like just in case nintendo decides not to send me my posts, I'm planning to put a big chunk of them all in one strip like I did before to save space.

    That seems like an easy way to do it, Mika. Of course, I wouldn't be able to fix any typos that way, but there are always tradeoffs. Obviously this is a huge undertaking, but I have time. So long I work on archiving just one month at a time, I should be able to finish it without much trouble.

    Ouch, that's gotta be torture. I'm also trying to create back-ups of drawings I did. (mainly the comments in the Fire Emblem ones) I'd kinda like to be in the know of where you'll post Today's Client, if you don't mind? Give me a chance to actually read them.

    Yes, FP, I found that out while archiving November 2015. It only saves properly if you expand comments first. You have to do the same for spoilered comments from others as well; thank goodness your own spoilers are always shown. It's a very good thing I caught the problem so early. I could have accidentally ruined a ton of work!

    Worse than that. Attempts to save the pages caused it to save the default unexpanded pages with non-working expand button. It never even saved the screenshots from the full page. So I had to copy the text and pull screenshots manually.

    Hrm. I haven't had that problem after expanding; I've checked. Maybe it's because I'm using Firefox.
