I've reached the point in my life where I gain absolutely nothing from going to school anymore. I know what I excel at, and I know what I could never possibly hope to learn. Why do I have to be forced to go through more meaningless information that I'll only forget, when I'm clearly ready to actually DO something with my life? I'm almost at my breaking point.

    I see your point, and I'd agree with you, but I think the reason for forcing people to learn about lots of things that likely won't help them in life is just to make society a bit more educated about everything in general. Just hang in there.

    At first, School seems like a paradise to wash your sorrows away! But then as the years go by it feels the complete opposite. I can't even take it anymore after all these years

    And then you realize you're forced to go to school because if you don't then you don't have the education credentials that every job that isn't being a fast food cashier requires on your resume rip

    Geometry sometimes helps me with drawing proportionate anatomy (when I actually take drawing seriously), and I suppose History could help with writing satire...? ...what do I know yet, I'm only in 9th .-.

    I agree, but I am not in the same situation. I don't actually, SPECIFICALLY, know what to do with my life. I have gaming and arts as the general areas, but I'm not sure what to make a hobby and what to make my job.

    There is much much more interchange between school subjects in actual jobs then you can possibly imagine. To say you have gotten everything you can get out of school says you don't quite understand how the world works yet... it's ok everyone goes through it but you will be shocked when you realize that the amount of things you need but don't know yet vastly outnumbers the things you actually know
