最初の目的地、平等院に到着！この平等院は平安時代後期11世紀の建築、仏像、絵画、庭園等を今日に伝え、「古都京都の文化財」として世界遺産に登録されています。また平等院といえば鳳凰堂も有名で1053年天喜元年に時の関白藤原頼通によって建立された阿弥陀堂です。大きな特徴は池の中島に建てられていてあたかも極楽の宝池に浮かぶ宮殿のようにその美しい姿を水面に映してることです。是非一度実際にこの目に焼き付けておきたい！
