Gunvolt Switch

It's fantastic. But, it seems like joule's conversations were cut out. They keep repeating the same ones. It's not like the 3DS version. Anyone notice this?

    I believe there are two English options for Gunvolt 1 on the Striker Pack: original English mode and English (Japanese Voice mode). The latter has the previously cut Joule conversations intact. The Switch version has the options menu with language settings for both games. Maybe that will help?

    I still haven't tried yet... Which brings me to ask. Is it more like the original NES Megaman gameplay or X gameplay?

    It's maybe more like X. It's fairly unique, so I can't say it's exactly like megaman. You can see it's inspired by it, but the gameplay is all new.

    I had Azure Striker Gunvolt on 3DS, played it for a bit, but for some reason I stopped playing it. I'll definitely get the Switch version as it has both the first and the second one.

    Overall it looks really good on the TV. There are a couple screens that arent perfectly formatted for a TV, but they aren't important to the actual game. The english/ japanese option is awesome. it's like you're playing in a graphic novel. nice touch.

    Is it tougher on the console? I've noticed handheld versions of things are generally easier than their bigger siblings.

    I think it had harder modes on 3DS, but there are new features on the switch. You can actually take more than 1 hit (3 hits) before you lose kudos. Yet, there is a mode where you can lose kudos like the original.
