    But they can't be Shiny in the game. They have to be randomly generated Shiny in the Pokemon X story, otherwise it's not legit. The only legit Shiny Legends are in 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, 5th Gen(except Victini, Reshiram, and Zekrom), and the ORAS ones found in the dimensional portals. I don't think Mewtwo or the Kanto Birds in X/Y can be generated Shiny.

    Max, your not wrong, but both ★Yveltal and ★Xerneas was released as events. Region introduced/box art legendary pokemon from Gen 6+ can't be shiny though.

    But you might as well cheat for one. Events are outside normal gameplay. That's why VGC has always banned Mythicals and expressly say that they're not obtainable through normal gameplay.
