    @Ethan I want an egg because I'm trying to hatch a shiny Rockruff, and I've been experimenting with Digletts and figured out that I could hatch a shiny Rockruff by trading eggs before a shiny Diglett hatched. Also, sorry about disconnecting. My bad internet. ._.

    If I'm correct tho, If I give you a shiny Rockruff egg through trade it will just reset and become a normal Rockruff when you hatch it.

    You don't have to trade me a shiny Rockruff egg, just a normal Rockruff egg. Apparently if I hatch an egg now, I could get a shiny Rockruff instead of a shiny Diglett.

    You mean that swap method thing? I don't think that's how it works. It's like this. and correct me if I'm wrong. Go to the nursery, Save. Put the parent in with a ditto or same pokemon. Start hatching preferably a Karp because those hatch the fastest. Keep hatching eggs until you get a shiny, Make sure you know how many eggs you hatched. Soft reset. Put Rockruff in with Ditto/Rockruff get the-

    Same amout of eggs that it took you to hatch the shiny karp. Lets say I got the shiny karp on egg 30 then hatch the 30th Rockruff egg then boom shiny Rock puppy thing.
