why aren't there birds?

Birds are an essential part of society, they smell good and they like dancing. We wouldn't be able to live without birds. I dont understand why there wouldn't be any birds. minecraft is unrealistic.

    Its quite clear you have not looked, you can get birds on minecraft in mods on computer version (PC) but if you want an answer for Wii U its so people buy computer versions' Its part of making money!

    Minecraft is not supposed to be realistic. It's like saying: Splatoon make no sense because you die in water. It's just plain stupid to say that Minecraft, THE GAME WITH DRAGONS AND WALK SKELETONS. Is made to simulate real life.

    Also why would Minecraft even be realistic 1. Its a game 2. Thats part of the fun 3. Plus if they did have a Minecraft birds's don't you think it would be a bit *well* Blocky in a way so i dont think thats even realistic in the first place, so.... Think about the question first before posting it ,/
