次の目的地、神代駅に到着！抱返り渓谷は秋田県仙北市にある渓谷で雄物川支流の玉川中流に位置し、全長は約10kmで田沢湖抱返り県立自然公園に指定されています。東北の耶馬渓とも呼ばれており一湯、六滝、三島(奇岩)の見所があると言われています。この上流には神代ダムがあるそうです。田沢湖の南方にあり下流にはみちのくの小京都で知られる角舘があるため観光客は非常に多く、特に紅葉のシーズンには非常に多くの観光客が訪れてるそうです。因みに抱返り渓谷の名前の由来は地形が非常に急峻で狭隘なために人がすれちがうときに互いを抱き合って振り返ったことに因むと言われています。
