咲良との会話から:チャイ(英:Chai) 「お茶」を意味する言葉で、狭義にはインド式の甘く煮出したミルクティーを示唆する。世界的には、茶葉に香辛料を加えた「マサーラー・チャイ」を示唆する。ロシア語/ペルシア語/トルコ語でも「お茶」のことを「チャイ」と呼ぶ。インドのチャイは庶民的な飲み物で、一般的に鍋/やかんにより少量の水で紅茶を煮出し、大量のミルクを出して更に煮出し、大量の砂糖で予め味付けする。チャイの入れ方は、「ダストティー」と呼ばれる細かいほこりのような茶葉から作る紅茶を美味しく飲む方法とされている。出典:Wikipedia チャイ
