[In-game Miiverse features, continued] Super Mario Maker, as just about everyone who's played or heard of it knows by now, is a celebration of Mario's 30th anniversary back in 2015 that let's players create, share, and play each other's crazy 2D Mario level creations--"be they merry, or merciless." And yes, the level-sharing here is at least partially based/dependent on Miiverse.

...and select a course to see how many comments it has (Makers adds the extra step of having to first select a maker before seeing a list of their levels). Obviously, creating, sharing, and playing all of these levels is the whole point of the game, so it's too important to just shut down along with Miiverse.

So, at some point, there's going to be an update for SMM that will allow level sharing to continue. The big change that's coming after Miiverse shuts down, though, is that players will no longer be able to post comments.

Also, there was a post on the Super Mario Maker Info page and there was a miiverse maintenance for a couple days, and during that maintenance, you couldn't upload levels or Star/Comment on currently uploaded levels. We cant have a local mario level maker, nintendo is better than that, we need it world-wide! Also, the miiverse support for mario maker is both ingenious and a ticking time bomb.

Once miiverse ends, so does the mario maker community. Also, i hope nintendo finds a way to star courses in mario maker without miiverse. We'll cross that bridge later, becouse i want a network to upload my levels, even if they aren't the best, just like my skills, i want to share my levels. We need something for mario maker that we can upload levels on besides miiverse after it closes on November

9th, and nintendo, Dont you dare EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING THE EASY PATH AND JUST MOVE EVERYTHING TO THE SWITCH! You can move miiverse to the switch, but i want to be able to upload and star levels on the Wii U.
