最後の目的地、白石駅に到着！この宮城蔵王の御釜は宮城県刈田群蔵王町にある火口湖のことで蔵王連峰の観光のハイライトとしても有名です。水は常に淡い緑色に濁りその色調は季節によって様々。水質はpH=3.5の酸性で生物は一切生息していません。御釜は濁川という河川の源流で東に向けて流れ出ており遠刈田温泉の手前で澄川と合流して松川と名を変え更に白石川、阿武隈川を経て太平洋に注ぐ。激しい噴火活動があるとこの川に沿って泥流が流れる傾向があります。
