次の目的地、大河原駅に到着！白石川堤一目千本桜は宮城の人気お花見スポットの一つで「日本さくら名所100選」にも選ばれています。桜が見頃を迎える時期には白石川流域の大河原町と柴田町で桜祭りが開催され多くの人で賑わいます。白石川沿いに続く桜並木はおよそ8kmあり桜の開花時期には桜並木と雪を頂く蔵王連峰を合わせて眺めることが出来ます。毎年綺麗な桜と風景が人気を呼んでおり写真を撮る人も多い有名なスポットとなっています。
