After 9 months of dealing with horrible teammates, Japanese players who can somehow snipe through walls, Japanese players who use overpowered weapons with all damage up gear, horrible internet, 1,000 disconnections, and salty squidbaggers, I finally got level 50. Thanks to all of my friends who supported me. Passed me up, but supported me. Love you guys.

  • Congratulations! Now all that's left is to get rank S! ........... or maybe not ............ so many salty squids, so little parties (-_-)'

  • The disconnects and lag can be caused by incorrect internet settings. Also I find quick aim 3-K E-Liter snipers very annoying.

  • YES. YES. EXACTLY YES. They are veryy annoying. I actually use Mobile Hotspot on my iPhone. xD LOL Michael, I would have been at at least A+ if people actually done the objective instead of worrying about getting the most kills. Sure in this post it said that I'm a B rank, but I certainly don't play like one. I twin squad with my bf and he's an S+ I believe...

  • ...I've won battles against other S+ people. So I mean, if it wasn't for my bad internet and my bad teammates, who knows where my rank could have been xD

  • Right! it's almost every game that I'm the ONLY person on or even NEAR the tower, and on rainmaker last 30 seconds, the most crucial point where you need to be AT the rainmaker for the last push to victory or to make it into overtime there's always 1 or 2 lone wolfs uslessly 'painting a path' half the map away when the whole of the enemy teams firepower is focused on the rainmaker.

  • Splatzones aren't as much trouble and are pretty straight forward, especially in S where everyone pretty much knows what they're doing. Also in most S matches the problems I faced in tower control arise less and even those more kill oriented are targeting first anyone who attacks you as you ride the tower. The rainmaker problems are ever present though.

  • One thing I learned is that, If no one else is moving the objective forward, make it YOUR sole priority. Chances are they're just waiting to back you up. In their minds their role is escort. You and I can't change that so it's up to us to carry the burden. We may have the worst K/D ever but we consistently get top score ;)

  • Also #*^& bad wireless only design. I haven't really gone on a rant before...I feel a little better now XD

  • Also trolling snipers with luna sneak attacks & bamboozlers is the BEST!

  • HAHA I feel like you really needed to get that all out xD I don't blame you LOL. But yeah I agree with what you're saying. I'm usually the one always carrying my team to victory and it's kinda annoying. When all of our opponents are dead, the objective still never gets done because I'm in the process of respawning. It's just like "uuuggghhh WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

  • Ok Michael this is literally all my teammates in every ranked battle I have. Me- actually trying to go for the tower, take the rainmaker, or control the zones. 2- shooting ink at the birds 3- playing turf war (in ranked) 4- *disconnects* There's one of these people in every ranked battle I play lol, and it doesn't help because the more my rank drops the more of these people I get xD

  • And I'll admit, I always disconnect, which also doesn't help my rank -.-

  • One thing that I found helps with internet is to make sure no one else in the house is using it. (hence why I play late at night) And if its patchy and kicking you off every 5 seconds unplug your internet device, count to 30, then plug it back in. But make sure it's safe by reading the manual or googling your device though first.

  • Hopefully this helps a bit, but I can't help with bad teammates lol. One way to avoid that is when the battle ends, quit that group and try to join a new lobby, doesn't always work but worth a shot. Also VERY important is to not get salty. It can be incredibly hard, trust me I know, but I've noticed a huge drop in my performance whenever I let anger get the best of me.

  • If you're like me then you might find taking breaks often helps immensely, especially if I've been on a losing/disconnection streak.

  • I needed to hear that omg thanks xD I do rejoin a ranked lobby all the time, I'm never in the same room. But for me, when I get angry I do better so I dunno
