The easiest and hardest weapons to do well with

What do you think they are? I'd say easiest would be the 3 Splattershots (vanilla, Tentatek and Wasabi). Tentatek especially as it is good at everything. Hardest would be the chargers, especially the Squiffers and Bamboozlers.

  • I can only speak for myself here, but I do great with the Sploosh-o-Matics and Aerosprays. I struggle with some of the charger weapons (especially the bamboozler) and one of the blasters, can't remember which one.

  • The Sploosh-o-matic is a lot of work (to avoid being splat), but it splats anyone in range really quickly. The Custom Splattershot Jr is really difficult, because it also has no range, but it takes forever to splat. A trace of lag is very painful.

  • The Splattershot was designed to be easy & lethal, for beginners. So, it's a nightmare when a level 50 uses it. Besides dominating in range & splat speed, it inks.

  • Oh yeah if we count for lag, chargers become a nightmare to use because your target starts teleporting. You don't know where to aim and your target just has to keep firing around where you're standing to splat you.

  • Bamboozler is probably the most technical weapon in the game. Not only do you need to land 2 shots to splat, but their turfing and ink efficiency is horrible. Most Bamboo users I've seen are either excellent or terrible.

  • Squiffer gets outranged by some shooters and blasters, so it's really overshadowed. And they have a tough time going against any other charger because of their short (by charger standards) range.

  • Yeah if a Sploosh or Aerospray gets near you, it's over. They're not that easy to use since they have to find ways to get in that close. But the Splattershots are good at everything (damage, fire rate, strafing, inking, ink efficiency, range) and the Tentatek has a really good kit.

  • Not sure how many people suffer lag & throttling of ink. In northern California it's constant during business hours. This makes ordinary splats suicide runs for short shooters, and requires a whole new technique to survive.

  • I've lost some matches because an opponent was lagging so badly that none of us coud hit him. Going against laggy Krakens is also tough.
