Looking for Teammate

VGC Team for Pikachu

Guys I need help, I want to make a VGC team for Pikachu (Its my Favorite Pokemon), I decided to add Tapu Koko and Pelipper, but Im not sure what else to add, do you have any suggestions? It would help me a lot

    i have a pika for trade if that what you mean i also know Xurgitree a good electric pokemon also tapu koko can use roost dunno how that works lol

    This strategy isn't great since it's based around a weak pokemon but Scarfed Xurkitree with Discharge, will damage the opponents a little and activate pika's lightningrod People will likely go after xurkitree because it's stronger, letting you send in koko next turn too further power up pika with terrain Earthquake means pika needs either a sash or air balloon

    How about Golduck with Swift Swim. You could make rain team and have electric type Pokemon with move Thunder. I do competitve VGC as well and I made all kinds of teams.

    Xurkitree and Golduck hmm.... doesnt sound like a bad Idea at all, but I think that I would have a lot of electric pokemon, that Discharge strategy, it sounds great i could put discharge on Koko

    When making any competitive team it's recomend not to have too many Weakness of one typeing. It's better to have balence to help to cover each team members Weakness. Some teams do have least two Pokémon with same weakness which is ok as long you have way to cover least one that Pokémon Weakness.

    Yeah thats true, well now I will need two more pokemons for the team, maybe a grass type, hmm.... maybe something like Tseerena, or hmmm Im not sure

    In all teams you should have good core like Topu Fini, A-Marowak and Kartana as example. Topu Fini to deal with fire types,A-Marowak withlighting rode for electric and coverage against grass. Or have team evolve around one Pokemon and have team build of it like Snorlax.
