Old vs. New Performance?

I know Metroid isn't New model exclusive, but does it handle ok on the Old models?

    It has some occasional chopiness on my older model XL model. Still a great game though - a must buy!

    Oh yeah, this game is definitely on my buy list. Everything I've seen about it looks impressive. Just wanted to make sure nothing majorly wrong on the Old models. Choppiness I can handle; outright freezing/crashing not so much. Thanks for the input!
