What was the point of the 2ds? Like you could just get a 3ds and not use the 3d feature. Also, the screen wouldn't get as dirty and it's more portable the the 2ds.

But then again, now we have the New 2DS XL, but even so, it just looks like a mini version of the 3DS without 3D.

The New 2DS XL can fold. It's only the original 2DS that has the slab design.
