Badge Arcade - so what happens when...

So what happens when Nintendo decides to shut down the Badge Arcade? Since the badge box collections cannot be manipulated offline, do we lose ALL the badges we've earned and PAID for?!?

    @gabriel: How do you know that for sure? Right now, we cannot manipulate our badge box offline. If all stays the same, we'll lose the ability to move our badges around.

    It would make sense that you could still use whatever badges you have in your badge box (even without the game), but the box only holds 1000 badges. What if you have a few thousand of them?
