Potential?

Since xenoblade chronicles agility stat broke into to- evasion and potential, I always rely on evasion. But what exactly does potential even do?!

    Never mind! But for those other than myself, what it does is of the following: 1. soul heals, the option in battles when you see a ring shinking into the center of the screen-The "b" button, heal more. 2. Higher Potential = The higher, TP related, attacks deal. I really should of read that manual...
