東京都・伊豆諸島のご当地料理(?)・くさや。「クサヤモロ」と呼ばれる新鮮な魚などを「くさや液」と呼ばれる魚醤に似た独特の匂いを持つ発酵液に漬け込み、天日干しした食品である。使用される魚の種類は、ムロアジ(クサヤモロ)/トビウオ類/シイラなど。匂いによって好き嫌いが別れるものの、ご飯のおかずとしてだけではなく、「島焼酎」と呼ばれる焼酎やコシの強い日本酒によくあうとされる。なお、近年は体によい食品とされていて、関東地方を中心に出荷もされている。出典:Wikipedia くさや
