岩を入れる前に中を覗いたら、シカがこんなとこに出現したぞ! 動物はわりと僻地に出現しやすい気もする。

人里に現れないのはある意味リアルですね。

動物はオオカミ系を除いてリンクから逃げようとするため、基本的に無害です。しかし、動物AIが考えた逃亡ルートにリンクがいるとリンクに突進して道を確保しようとする。このパターンは大抵山道だったり足場が狭いことが多くて、山の崖際から突進で突き落とされてそのへんの魔物より痛いダメージを貰うことがある・・。
