  • Birb Hi-no-shin! Or something like that...

    Yeahs0
  • @LeArtister His name is Hi No Tori, which translates to "Bird of the sun", so I call him Hi No Birb. XD

    Yeahs0
  • @Derp Nyada Thanks for clearing that up! Hi-no-birb. Sounds good.

    Yeahs1
  • @Le Artister, Maybe Hino always dreamt to be a yo-kai birdie. @Derp Nyada, Bird of the Sun sounds like a Phoenix, I'm guessing you nickname him Hi no Birb if you got him that is.

    Yeahs1
  • Yeahs0
  • @Le Artister, Hi no Tori: I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky.

    Yeahs0
  • Birb boi is best boi.

    Yeahs0
  • @Le Artister, Hi no Tori is best birb & Hinozall is best CEO.

    Yeahs0
  • Hi No Shin's English name triggers me. But then again all YW English names trigger me so who am I to say anything-

    Yeahs0
  • @Derp Nyada, Well to be fair some of the english names in YW2 are really bad & you question why Hino approved of it. But Hinozall isn't! Hi no Shin: More cat yo-kai!!

    Yeahs1
  • Hinozall is a play on "Hino" and "He knows all" Idk why but it just doesn't sound fitting for Hi No Shin, who's name literally translates to "God of the sun".

    Yeahs0
  • @Derp Nyada, You know I actually agree with you Hi no Shin's literal translation is way cooler than He knows all. When YW3 truly comes, we await for the cringe because I seriously doubt everyone will end up with good names. Even names already in English get change. Sebastian cries everytime!

    Yeahs1
  • I even dislike Snee's name, because it has almost no relation to what he's based on. Snee is Dutch for "slash", but his Japanese name, Muramasa, makes much more sense because he is based on the legend of Muramasa Senji and the Muramasa blade.

    Yeahs0
  • @Derp Nyada, You know I never heard of that story but I know Muramasa is the cursed blade. Snee is dutch for slash hmm interesting actually. Trying to tie-in the yo-kai origins within a name is going to be next to impossible unless they kept the japanese name. I still can't forget the cringe that was Toadal Dude when it was 1st revealed.

    Yeahs1
  • @Barus & Muranyan: I'm largely the same w/ calling Yo-kai by their names that make more sense, but can I be honest? I perfer saying "Arachnus" to "Tsuchigumo". Mainly because Arachnus is shorter and easier to say quickly than Tsuchigumo. :P But I'll still always call Shutendoji, "Shutendoji". :3

    Yeahs1
    Played
  • @Kona-chan, Same Arachnus is perfect for him & Smogmella is pretty good too. We await the localize name that is Shutendoji!

    Yeahs1
