    old games are harder then new games consider omegaalaph ruby it is newer but i beat in six hours silver and gold could take 1year-3months it's twice as long as newer games

    Artistic value. The color palette & pixel art in Gold/Silver are both really well designed, despite the system limitations.

    Because gold/silver/sapphire is my favourite pokemon games ever. they're not insultingly easy, they look and sound amazing, and it's alot of bang for your buck with 2 regions and 16 gyms. I replay them on 3ds because the battery in my cartridge is dead and 3ds port is compatible with pokemon bank. also I rather support nintendo than play an emulator = telling nintendo that I love gen 2.
