Toys R Us, Nooo ; v ; !! I mean I'm not surprised that kids are buying less toys now but still— you were, like, my goto along with Target when I was little. So many things are closing this year. Club Penguin closed Miiverse is closING BéBé is closed if not in the process of. My local grocery story with decent food— Now Toys R Us is gonna go down too? I didnt expect this…

Yeah, I heard and that actually makes me really sad. I remember when I was a kid and I was ALWAYS asking to go there. Hell there's one right next to the mall where my bus drops me off. I kinda regret never going back in there

Believe it or not, Toys R Us was part of my late childhood. I remember spendming my christmas money at toy r us back in 2013 when I was only 11... Bought some pokemon cards, a foam diamond swoard,(which I still have today), and some halo sets. I even bought my Wii U from the same Toys R Us I bought all that stuff years ago. Once I get 0v3r $200, I'll stop by my local Toys R Us and go on a huge...

Wait, WHAT?! *checks Google* But....what about the giraffe stream the had and stuff? Eh, great... So many want digital things instead of toys. Well, that stinks... =\ I was planning on going there later today too. Maybe it's not too late and I can get a stuffed giraffe to remember by.

Oh wait wait wait... It seems from the NY Times, Toys R Us is filing for bankruptcy, BUT they're not closing their doors just yet. They have investors, some buyers who are willing to assist this international franchise back on their feet as long as they own a share (which is why they bought in in the first place). So there's a fighting chance that they'll survive, but expect some changes sadly.

Lordie, that's a lot of comments to reply to :o (sorry, haven't been online because of school and I distract myself as much as it is) @Kellan Well I don't know all of the information, but I think it's sad that a lot of traditional stores are having difficulties now that we're a very online dominant generation. It's affecting so many so many stores… I haven't really gone back to Toys, myself-

but it really is a shame. @A.J. I'm sure Nintendo'll probably make accommodations, but it's just really inconvenient. Maybe they'll provide them at other places like Target, Gamestop, or BestBuy( which has the worst amiibos count by the way)? @Mizu Back in the day, I think they did have nice deals on pokemon games. But what I really remember it for was my brother's and my old Bayblade-

In other words, it's a way to keep your business alive while laying low. It's sorta like saying "if you give me another chance, I'll ___." It's not entirely a "Get out of Jail Free" card since it still makes them vulnerable, but if they stand to keep their company up and making cash, it's an option. Though I do expect new management. So the stores will still be open until the foreseeable future.
