Metroid 5?!

I know we got this game that came out & Prime 4 being worked on for the Switch. But it wouldn't hurt that I would like to see Metroid 5 on the Switch as well. I want to see what happened after the events of Fusion.

  • Lets hope that switch will have Metroid 5 and later a remake of Metroid 3 from SNES

  • A sequel to Fusion has been long overdue anyway. 17 years and counting.

  • I have a feeling Metroid 5 will end up being a 3DS game like this one.

  • Honestly, I don't want a Super Metroid remake because the original did everything right far as the game goes & it has age really well. Plus u can get it on Wii VC or Wii U & 3DS ( and maybe on Switch ) eshop easily with cheap price. And the SNES classic edition is coming out in a week with it.

  • As for Metroid 5, I hoping that'll come cause it's been over 15 years since Fusion where it was the end of the timeline. If u know Fusion story, u know people wanted a Metroid 5. And honestly, I don't think it'll be on the 3DS cause it might end it's life cycle in 2018. So on the Switch with Prime 4 being worked on right now will be great.

  • Did you get to see all the Chozo memories?

  • dude seriously? we only have a logo for metroid 4 andbyoure talking about 5?

  • Maybe Metroid: Dread will be put into development for the Switch if Samus Returns sells well.

  • If they were gonna do a remake it can only have a couple of things. A graphics update that can be toggled [Halo Anniversary], and control options for those that like ZM/Fusion controls. I'd rather there not be one though.

  • Samus dies after Metroid 4, her body must have ultimately rejected the Metroid transfusion. Why else would every new game take place in the past? (But hey, that's just a theory.)

  • Potential Metroid 5 story: The warlike chozo faction most likely stole the metroid creation tech, "vanished", only to reappear having created fully obedient, evolving metroids, the federation tells Samus they'll forgive her acts in Fusion if she stops the hostile chozo, who are more dangerous than the pirates.

  • How about Metroid 2.5. A prequel to MP 3, where you control a team of Hunters from 3, as they each get their first assignments. Could flesh out the 3 hunters stories.

  • The warlike Chozo were called Torzio(I think that was the original spelling),Samus fought one in Super Metroid....the one posing as a Chozo statue holding the Bomb powerup.

  • Well maybe after Prime 4 is released on the Switch, I'm hoping they'll probably start working on Metroid 5 on the Switch so we can get 2 Metroid games on the Switch. And maybe it'll be released over 2 to 3 years after Prime 4 is released.

    Yeahs0
  • The Torizo is just a random robot. Actual Chozo are organic bird people.

  • I hope samus doesnt die after prime 4, i hope she survives:[

  • Me too, Samuska. Like I said, after Prime 4 is out, they should make Metroid 5 on the Switch.
