Throwback Thursday: Super Mario Sunshine!

Remember this GameCube classic? It's one of the only game where we see Mario with short sleeves! I got the game recently, and I'm enjoying it. It's not as popular as Super Mario 64 or Galaxy, but it's very challenging, and I like a challenge. Do you have any thoughts or memories to share about this game? Feel free to comment!

    I loved this game when I was a kid. I still have fond memories of playing this for days. It's so underrated!

    ↑ Oh no! A shame. Perhaps you've heard of the GameCube? It was released back in 2002. Maybe your too young to know what it is. I am, too. But I have an old wii that can play GameCubes games. It's fun to play games from the past. You should give it a shot!

    I was a kid when this game came out. The Gamecube had a lot of hype coming from Nintendo fans at the time. Everybody was FLOORED when they saw how gorgeous Twilight Princess was, and SMS was the spiritual successor to SM64, which was hands-down the most influential videogame of all time. I got Sunshine as soon as it came out, and it remains one of my favorites. Also Wind Waker existed.

    Wind Waker actually didn't become popular until years after it came out. At the time people were almost offended that it didn't have any of the grit that previous titles had. Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask and A Link To The Past were all dark, gritty games with themes of despair. MM obviously did it way more than the other two did, but they were still dark games. Then Wind Waker came out ._.

    I was never interested in the the non traditional Mario games like galaxy. I prefer the old, old ones, Like Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World!

    The game system I owned as a little kid was the Gameboy Advance SP, I played Super Mario World and Mario Kart Super Circuit on it a lot, I became especially good at Mario Kart, I also played Pokemon Emerald quite a bit to.

    Do Mario Galaxy next. (But Mario Galaxy isn't old! >:( ) It's about to celebrate it's 10 year anniversary on November 1st and it came out 2 home console Nintendo systems ago, that was the game gube when the Wii U was "popular"

    I love Sunshine. It may not be as good as 64 or the Galaxy games (IMO), but I had a ton of fun with it. Isle Delfino is still one of my favorite locations in any Mario game.

    Yes, you can! As long as you have a 2006-2007 Wii, (you can tell if you can open the top and find gamecube controller plug ins,) and a GameCube controller. You can find instructions anywhere online!
