Death Note anime or Death Note movie?

Alright, so I binge-watched Death Note yesterday, both the movie and anime, and I want to know, which you prefer.

    The anime is far superior to the movie. I'm not going to say that the movie doesn't have any good points, but it's not even remotely close to how good the anime is.

    Without writing an essay explaining why I think that: they condensed and simplified the story way too much; it pretty much got rid of the entire cat and mouse game between Light and L, which is what made me fall in love with the anime; and the whole second half, in my opinion, just devolved into a generic action movie, which I hated.

    Sorry glitch, anyway the movie wasn't what I was expecting, but I loved black L. Though you're right that they removed the cat-and-mouse from the movie. That was something that always makes me grin in the anime. Though I thought the movie Light's reaction to Ryuk was a lot more realistic.
